New Performance Heights

The E98 Series H follows the 11AC protocol by supporting wider channel bandwidth (80 MHz) at 5Ghz and wider 256-QAM, plus other features that improve network bandwidth, reliability and the efficiency of wireless connections. With advanced QFN, On-chip CPU for Host Wi-Fi offload, 80Mhz channel bandwidth, 4 Gbit/s bus bandwidth, evolved QAM baseband modulation technologies and 1.3 Gbps WLAN peak throughput the E98 Series H is setting new standards for Enterprise and Industrial markets and applications.

Technology Unleashed – Dual Band 11AC

The E98 Series H supports both 2.4Ghz legacy band and the less crowded 5Ghz wireless bands for connections up to 1300Mbps. In an era where still 60% of the WiFi networks run on the 2.4Ghz band, the E98 Series H is unleashing the possibility to adopt the new standard with a single module.

Longer Range

Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, the MIMO implementation in this module actually uses reflections to increase the range and reduce “dead spots” in the wireless coverage area. Designs may use up-to three-antenna via the on-board U.Fl./IPEX connectors to achieve MIMO 3Tx3R (3 Transmit & 3 Receive) performance.

Higher Output - Better Links

The E98 Series H packs up to 26dbm  aggregate power output for MIMO links. The device adopts XSPAN with SST3 and Multiple In and Enhanced Tx Power Accuracy technology. Thus it provides larger coverage and increased specific link throughput.

Extended and Industrial Temperature Grades

Operate in 11AC in high humidity and under severe temperature conditions (-20 ~ 70°C) or push deployments in True Industrial environments, with high humidity and severe weather operation (-40 ~ 85°C). The E98 Series H is a highly integrated wireless, perfectly suitable for industrial, outdoor and enterprise-level applications.

Transmission Beamforming (TxBF)

The E98 Series H enables a higher modulation and coding scheme (MCS) at a given range. TxBF with under 802.11ac benefits from the extends the maximum range to provide large throughput data rates while reducing power requirement by coordinating more antenna signals for a given client link.
